I had surgery using an open septoplasty approach, silicone for the bridge, and tissue from behind the ear. The director was kind, and the front desk was just so-so, but the operating room staff were extremely kind. At first I was thinking about a closed approach, but seeing that there is no visible sign now, I think it was the right choice to go open. I also liked that I could see the director every time I went for follow-up checks. But if I do not say I had surgery, nobody knows. Also, the tip of my nose looks subtly whitish, so I think I should ask the hospital about it.
