A long time ago, I saw a friend had it done and then got surgery impulsively. They seem to do it according to the basic standard rather than tailoring it to each person's eyes. People around me were split 50:50 between saying I looked better before double eyelid surgery and saying I looked better after it. There was no particular aftercare, so the swelling lasted a very long time, but it is fine now.
