My mouth corners naturally turn upward, so the clinic told me there was no need to think about surgery. I also had a consultation about philtrum reduction, but they said my philtrum was not long enough to justify surgery, and since I have a triangular upper lip, if I were to do it I would also need lateral correction.. The consultation made it sound like it would turn into a much bigger operation than I expected. So they said fillers alone would probably be fine. I was recommended fillers and Botox. The price was pretty brutal, but the result is good.. The cost is a bit of a burden.
