Eye Surgery Reviews

Review

First double-eyelid surgery clinic visit, first one Visited with a prior reservation on a weekday afternoon. The purpose was consultation for first double-eyelid surgery (to address the double fold) + canthoplasty for the outer corners. My eyes were originally monolids, but due to use of double-eyelid tape, aging habits, and so on, a double fold formed and a dark, thick outer line appeared. Thin skin on protruding eyes. No cosmetic surgery experience. The consultation flow was manager -> doctor (head doctor) -> manager. Compared with a 40-minute to 1-hour wait, the head doctor's consultation felt extremely short at about 5 minutes, and he hurried in wearing surgical clothes, explained things quickly, and then left like the wind, so I couldn't ask enough questions. That was a big disappointment T_T The surgery the doctor suggested was incisional double-eyelid surgery + upper eyelid fat repositioning + ptosis correction. Considering the peak season, the consultation time was far too short, so the amount of information I got and my satisfaction level were low, and I was left with disappointment and dissatisfaction. Still, they weren't rude, and the manager was also kind, so overall I did feel they were professional. At the time of my visit there were a lot of people waiting, so that was disappointing (peak season). If I had been able to consult with more time and room to breathe, I think I would have gotten more information and made a decision, but I'm still going around looking for clinics T_T
