Upper canthoplasty + posterior/lower canthoplasty + non-incisional natural adhesion double eyelid 11/1 Saturday: first visit and consultation 11/15 12:30 PM: surgery appointment 11/21 stitch removal (1 week after surgery), Healite treatment That day, I was going to the clinic after work when one eye suddenly started bleeding. I went to the clinic, but since I visited after closing time, all the doctors had already left, so they just removed the stitches and I went home for the time being! I still don’t know the reason, but there wasn’t any major problem! 12/6 clinic visit (Healite treatment and checkup with the director were scheduled, but due to a staff mistake, they only took photos and sent me home. They contacted me while I was on my way home after being discharged. They asked what was uncomfortable, so I told them, and they said it would get better with time! For now, I plan to keep monitoring the progress until the 3-month mark. I originally had monolids, but my eyes were on the larger side! I wanted my eyes to look longer, so I was only considering canthoplasty, but since I was doing it anyway, I decided to get double eyelid surgery together and went for a consultation! I had about 2-3 places in mind, but the reason I chose Iting was the director! The price was on the higher side compared with other places, but the consultation was thorough, and they kindly checked and shaped everything one by one. So I had the consultation that day and booked the surgery schedule right away! After the consultation with the director, I honestly had no doubts or worries from start to finish. From when I was looking for clinics, I had a thin double eyelid in mind. During the consultation, I requested that above all, I didn’t want a large double eyelid, and even if it loosened later, I wanted it shaped thinly like an inner double eyelid! There weren’t many places that seemed able to make it thinner than expected, but the director seemed capable! They understood and accepted my requests right away!!! - Surgery day 12:30 visit, changed clothes, took photos, had another consultation, etc. 2:30 entered the operating room, waited a bit, then they designed the shape, gave anesthesia, and performed the surgery During the surgery, they woke me up, had me sit up, and adjusted the shape After the surgery, I woke up from anesthesia in the recovery room and went home around 3:30 On the day of surgery, the double eyelids were bigger than I expected, so it felt a little(?) awkward After going home, I went to a department store, walked around, ate, and kept taking walks outside It felt like the bruising was gradually coming up! Since it was the first night, I iced the area and slept sitting up! I guess it was my effort to swell as little as possible - Days 1 and 2 after surgery I didn’t swell as much as I expected, and it was enough that I could go about daily life wearing glasses It was noticeable because of the bruising, but the swelling looked fine! That day too, I tried to go outside and walk as much as possible For washing, I bought a waterproof eye patch band(?) on Coupang and washed everything except my eyes - Day 3 I had to go to work, so I wore glasses and went! At first, everyone didn’t notice, because I didn’t make eye contact! When I made eye contact and talked to people around me, they said at first they just thought my eyes were swollen from crying or that I had done smoky makeup lolololol Everyone said there was so little swelling and that it turned out well, or they asked if I might regret it later because if it’s already this thin, it’ll get even thinner later! Hearing that made me so happy. Why? Because my need was for it to be as thin as possible, and I thought again that the director had golden hands! - One-week mark, stitch removal day From the surgery until now, the most painful thing was getting the stitches removed. Rather than painful, it felt like stinging After removing the stitches, they told me to take good care of the scars, so I managed them while trying not to touch them as much as possible, but as of now (2 months post-op), redness still comes up..! The clinic says it will get better with time, but how long does it take…(?) - After day 10 By around this point, it seems like most of the bruising is gone! From then on, they just felt like my own eyes. People around me said swelling keeps going down for 6 months, or even up to 1 year at the longest, and even now I feel like it’s still going down very subtly little by little!
