Current condition: sunken eyes + existing buried-suture double-eyelid crease coming undone + multiple creases + sleepy-looking eyes. As I got older, upper-eyelid fat kept decreasing and multiple creases formed. My eyes already looked sleepy, but because I did not want ptosis correction, I had buried-suture double-eyelid surgery twice. This time, to properly improve the sleepy-looking eyes, I consulted about incisional double-eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + upper-eyelid fat grafting. Apgujeong [Clinic A], one surgeon. I went because the surgeon was said to be well known for eyes. No consultation fee. They said that because of blepharoptosis, I would need ptosis correction + fat grafting + incisional double-eyelid surgery. Cost: over 5 million won, same for cash and card. They said mine were difficult eyes and that local anesthesia would be necessary. They told me that rather than my eyes becoming prettier, the result might not come out as I wanted, which made me deliberate a great deal. They tend to explain while showing before-and-after photographs. Apgujeong [Clinic B], one surgeon. Said to be famous as the "sewing machine" of Apgujeong. Photos are taken before consultation, then consultation. Consultation fee: 10,000 won. If you do not prepare questions, you may feel the consultation fee was a waste. Lowering the crease + incisional double-eyelid surgery + ptosis correction (when I said I have dry eye, they hesitated a lot about recommending it) + fat grafting = high 5-million-won range. I liked that they did not excessively recommend ptosis correction, considering the function of the eyes. The surgeon speaks calmly. No before-and-after photos are shown. Since it is a famous place, it was difficult to book surgery, and they said stitches are not removed separately. Neither place actually designed the crease. They only said they would lower the existing crease and improve the sleepy-looking, sunken eyes. The surgery costs were much higher than I expected, so I did not book surgery at either place.
