Nose Surgery Reviews

Review of getting rhinoplasty again after 8 years

Eight years ago, I used ear cartilage without an implant to raise only the nasal tip slightly, but over time I kept being bothered by how blunt my entire nose looked. Three years ago, I even tried filler around the nostrils because I wanted them to show less, but there was not as much change as I expected T_T Every time I took photos, the blunt-looking tip and visible nostrils from the front stressed me out, so I finally went ahead with revision rhinoplasty... It had been a long time since my first surgery, and I had already used ear cartilage, so I was very worried about revision surgery. But during my consultation with [Doctor A] at [Clinic A], they explained my current nasal condition and the effects of my previous surgery in detail, which gave me confidence. What I wanted was not simply a high nose, but a naturally prettier nose with a refined blunt tip and less-visible nostrils. At first after surgery, my nasal tip looked very swollen, and I wondered whether I should not have had revision surgery. But as the swelling subsided, the shape of the tip gradually became refined. Where it used to look spread out and blunt, it now looks much cleaner and more defined! Above all, I am most satisfied that my nostrils are not as visible from the front as they used to be. The nose looks naturally refined not only in profile but also from the front, so I like my photos much more now. I had many concerns about undergoing revision rhinoplasty after 8 years, but I am satisfied now that it has been naturally improved to suit my nose shape. The swelling has not completely subsided yet, so I am looking forward to the nasal tip becoming even more natural over time!
