When you have eye surgery, you usually have to close and open your eyes, so normally they only use sedation during very local anesthesia, briefly put you to sleep, wake you up, and operate while you are conscious. But I had surgery under sedation where the surgery was already over when I woke up. All 3 times, I had it that way from the same director. Even during my very first surgery at GRS before the merger, while I was lying on the operating table, I woke up from sedation and heard footsteps of someone entering the operating room, and then someone else who had been sitting behind me took both hands off my forehead. I was awake from anesthesia, and the person who came in said, “I’ll have you open your eyes.” It was the specialist in charge. They handed me a mirror and told me to take a look, but the surgery was already almost finished, and when I suddenly felt so much pain, they sedated me again. On the clinic website, it said short-term sedation or very local anesthesia, so when I asked, they said sedation surgery was Director Park’s personal style to reduce patient discomfort. I had surgery that way 3 times. There were many things that felt strange, so I asked the clinic to show me the CCTV. They said they only film if the clinic receives a filming request before surgery, and that they delete it the next day. They also said some operating rooms have CCTV and some do not.. So they said they can only show it if filming was requested, and if it was not requested, they cannot show it I still have all the text messages. A clinic staff member said they would periodically keep records of my eye condition and took photos with their own phone, but when the photos were taken in the consultation room, the scar did not show. They just keep telling me to wait, and the clinic says medial epicanthoplasty restoration is originally a surgery that always leaves scars. They say the laser is for chest scars, so there is nothing they can do. The posterior canthoplasty area also has one side opened up, with the mucous membrane visible as if it is bleeding, a ㄷ-shaped adhesion, and mucous membrane exposure. It is really severe. When you have surgery, make sure to request CCTV no matter what, and after surgery, be sure to ask for it. YJ is a large hospital, so they act like there is nothing you can do, and even if something goes wrong, there is no way to deal with it. They do so much broker advertising that many people must be visiting, but realistically, when you think about how they can operate on that many patients in one day while the directors also do consultations, please be careful of OLS.
