This is something I wrote as a comment on someone else's post, but I'm leaving it as a post! I had protruding mouth where my chin would wrinkle when I closed my mouth, and after becoming an adult, I went for a hospital consultation. As soon as the director saw me, they said I would definitely become prettier if I had extractions and got orthodontic treatment. It's been a year and a half since I started orthodontics, and my lower face wasn't originally a huge concern for me, so I didn't expect much, but the effect is so good. My lower face has become slimmer. When I look at old photos, I'm surprised, like, was my mouth that protruded? If you also seem like a case that would benefit a lot from orthodontic treatment, I recommend saving up and doing it.
