1. Septoplasty + inferior turbinate + endoscopic sinus surgery It’s rhinitis too, but I left the sinusitis untreated for a long time, so my sinuses are completely full of pus. So they said I need septal correction, inferior turbinate surgery, and pus removal all together.
2. Nasal bridge + nasal tip They said they would use septal cartilage + cartilage + artificial dermis. They said because there is a lot of pus, inserting silicone could cause inflammation. They said cartilage + septal cartilage would likely be small, so it wouldn’t raise the nose much, and if I wanted more height, I’d need autologous costal cartilage, but they said that is a bigger surgery. Since it’s an ENT clinic, they may be conservative, but it seemed like they only do it naturally
3. Cost Functional 3.5 million won + cosmetic 2.4 million won, for a total of 6 million won It was my first consultation, so I was really surprised when I heard the price... The 3.5 million for function should be covered by indemnity insurance, but still, 6 million felt super expensive.. Is it usually like this?
I’ll look for more clinics and get more consultations, but 1. ENT clinic 2. Fully meets the treatment purpose 3. The doctor and staff are all kind 4. The clinic is clean
