His manner of speaking and personality aren't exactly soft and warm, so it might not feel like a cheerful consultation. But then again, does the doctor's personality matter that much for surgery? If they're skilled and follow up on the progress responsibly, isn't that the best thing of all.. Anyway, this is a clinic specializing in front-corner surgery, and the doctor handles a lot of extreme-eye cases. Rather than me asking a lot of questions, the doctor suggested the direction first. I got enough counseling about the things I was worried about, like the distance between the brows and issues with widening after correction. The doctor said they wouldn't recommend it if it weren't a case for reverse skin redistribution, but in my case reverse skin redistribution is the right approach, so they said I'd likely be very satisfied after surgery. I left a deposit. We decided to proceed with an incision to lower the double-eyelid line.. For reference, I think friendliness from the staff is the baseline. (I don't really care if the staff aren't extremely friendly..) I choose clinics based on the doctor's skill reputation and whether they give me the feeling of confidence in the post-op results. I desperately hope this will be my last eye surgery, and since I decided on this clinic with that in mind, I really hope the surgery goes well.
