After visiting a few clinics for consultations, I recommend going here once you feel your own preferences have become clear. It is too good to waste on being your first consultation. I went after visiting about three clinics. I have a strong aversion to artificial implants, and in fact, looking at the shape of my nose alone, mine is a nose that would normally require silicone. (According to the director, “It’s a nose you can’t forget once you see it!! Even if you hadn’t had surgery here, it would have stayed in your memory,” he said. lol) Even so, when I said I did not want silicone, they did not even consider it at all. I think that is the biggest difference from other hospitals. Elsewhere, they tried to persuade me by saying silicone would be fine and side effects were almost nonexistent. Since my nose has almost no cartilage to begin with and I was worried that using the septal cartilage would cause trouble later, I was relieved that they would use only ear cartilage. The only thing that worried me a little was that they recommended lateral alar reduction too (worrying about scars..) To get to the point, I had my surgery here! My swelling is still very much at its peak, and I have not even taken off the splint yet (to be exact, they tape cotton into the shape of a splint), so there is no way for me to know the shape yet, which is why I cannot write a post-op review yet. But I really hope everyone can get a consultation here at least once... The director and the nurses are truly another class. ㅠ
