I came in for my first consultation, and the doctor personally took photos, then had me lie on the surgical bed? and checked my skin thickness while shining a light on it, then explained things by comparing it with a retouched Photoshop version to show how it would look after surgery. It felt like they were looking at me with a lot of care, so my trust went up because of that. The consultation said my skin was thin and would get even thinner with age, so silicone would definitely show through. They said it would be better not to use silicone if possible, and since the tip of my nose was a little pressed down, lifting the tip would also solve the issue of wide nostrils. I went hoping for a frontal change in my nose, but they said there wouldn’t be a big change from the front and that the tip change would be seen from the side, which was a bit disappointing because it differed from my expectations. Still, I thought this consultation method, where they take photos and look at a fixed image, was very important. When you look in the mirror, the shape can vary depending on the angle, so this part was the best. The doctor seemed very calm and kind, and they showed many photos of surgical results, most of which were very natural. What left the deepest impression was a revision case, and it really seemed like it changed very naturally, so I thought people considering revision surgery should at least get a consultation. It was my first consultation, but they analyzed the problems with my nose well, which helped me a lot in deciding on a direction!
