I had surgery around the end of December 2017. I was looking into repositioning because the fat under my eyes was protruding, and during the consultation they said it would need to be removed so it wouldn’t recur later, so I had the removal surgery. Once the major swelling went down and only the minor swelling remained, I thought I had made the right choice, but as time passed, I developed a hollow under-eye area because there was no fat left. Right now I have a hollow under-eye area and am thinking about fat grafting, and I regret having had removal surgery instead of repositioning.
