Eye Surgery review at Deogoun (더고운) · Double eyelid, buried suture · 2024-08-12

I had the surgery in December 2019. I got it cheaply with a high school senior discount, and I came here because a friend recommended the hospital, so I didn’t even shop around. The surgery itself turned out cleanly without bruising, but maybe the doctor and I didn’t communicate well about the height of the line I wanted, so the line ended up higher than I wanted… I still regret that a bit. I should have consulted more. And another problem was that after the surgery, at the inner corner of my right eye, maybe one stitch wasn’t fully removed, so it kept bunching up into a circle. So when I went back about two weeks later, they removed it without saying anything (they never apologized or anything, even though it was the hospital’s mistake) I still have a scar the size of a freckle at the inner corner of my eye.... Back then I was young too, and I wasn’t sure if it was my fault, but I don’t think it was right that they didn’t apologize Anyway, the surgery itself was okay, but if you’re going to do it anyway, I recommend doing it at a big place in Busan or Seoul
