They said laser surgery was safe and effective, so I had cheekbone and jaw surgery together, and it was truly the worst. There was absolutely no effect. Later, when I had a CT scan, the jaw had been cut into a strange shape and was cut crookedly. Even now, almost 7 years later, the sensation under the left side of my lip is still strange. If I spill food or get something on it, I can't really tell because the sensation is off. One side of the cheekbone is still left split open, and I can feel the gap even by touch. The other side only has a half-finished cut mark and wasn't corrected at all. It was truly the worst!!!
