Eye Surgery review at Oasiseu (오아시스) · Lateral and lower canthoplasty · 2022-03-03

When I first went in for consultation about back-lateral canthoplasty, from the manager to the director everyone made such a good impression, and the manager was so pretty too that I felt convinced as well. An older sister I know had it done at Oasis and got an amazing result, so with that in mind I went ahead and had the surgery. I had heard so much that back-lateral canthoplasty causes very severe swelling and puffiness that I was really scared, but honestly right after the surgery I looked in the mirror and couldn’t find much difference besides swelling and puffiness. But I was out of it on the day of surgery, so I just went home. The next day there was no eye swelling, just a little redness in the eyeball? That was all. I was a little unsure, but I just waited for the day the stitches would come out and took care of it diligently. Finally, on the day of stitch removal, it didn’t hurt at all when they came out, and when I looked in the mirror, there was no difference from before, and even the manager seemed unsure while looking at the surgeon’s reaction. So I requested a revision surgery. But what the hospital said was that it only looked that way because my eyelash extensions were thick. (They were longer before surgery too, and they didn’t remove the extensions during surgery.) They said to dissolve the aegyo-sal filler. (It had been 3 years since I got aegyo-sal filler, and before surgery they said this amount was fine.) They said all kinds of strange, useless things, and I was so dumbfounded that I just laughed. Then somehow I got revision surgery AS again (I only paid 100,000 won for sedation anesthesia). Before getting the AS, I called Oasis and found out the manager in charge of me had quit and someone else was there. But when I went on the day of the AS, they said that manager had also quit. It was such a mess. I clearly asked them to cut down more underneath, but they said they couldn’t do any more. Of course, even after the AS there was no difference honestly It seems the skill just isn’t there. I paid 100,000 won for sedation anesthesia and just came away with stitches in my eyes~~~ This is the first hospital I’ve seen with aftercare this awful, and the director seems to have zero pride or responsibility for the surgery they performed. It felt like, ‘Ah~~~ I just want to get off work, why are you here again causing trouble?’ lol omg I really hope they either fix it or just close the hospital. I wish they’d learn some responsibility as a doctor. Also, I can’t organize the before-and-after photos so I can’t show them. It’s right there if you go into the chart anyway. I nudged the coordinator a bit and even the coordinator seemed unsure, but I hope they build some sense of superiority and respect toward the staff too. Oasis ```s~
