There’s a sign at the hospital entrance saying it specializes in eyes. The hospital is quite narrow, and the waiting room has just one long sofa and one small one, so you have to squeeze in to sit. The director’s office (consultation room) is close to the waiting room, and the door wasn’t even closed, so it felt uncomfortable because it seemed like all the consultation details could be heard outside. I had a consultation directly with the director for about 10 minutes. He asked me first where I was uncomfortable, and once I told him, he immediately decided on the surgery method and cost. I had a little asymmetry in my eyes, so I asked whether we should check the other side too, and he said it would be fine. Then, as if the consultation were over, he just stared at me, so I had to squeeze out more questions about my eyes. When I asked to see photos of people who had surgery, he turned the monitor he was looking at toward me and showed me five or six photos, but they flashed by before I could really see them He doesn’t seem to normally do consultations by showing photos. The 5,000 won consultation fee was such a waste.
