During the consultation they were kind and confident. They said they specialized in eyes, so I chose them without going to many other places, but after seeing my surgically altered eye and the revision reviews from other people, I felt like the surgery had been done in a very wrong direction.. Other places say they only remove about 2 mm at most, but I don’t even know how many mm were removed here. I hope you go to as many consultations as possible and choose a place that preserves tissue a lot. Trying to lower it that much means removing that much skin, which is bad, and I think they should explain the risks of that more (they remove skin in the middle so thick and thin skin end up attached, which makes it look awkward). This is irreversible and cannot be undone. The only warning I got before consultation or surgery here was that the existing line might remain as a white line.. But honestly the white line doesn’t even bother me much, and maybe because it was a full incision, when I close my eyes the line is dark and very noticeable, so it doesn’t really seem improved. In the end it’s so far from what I thought natural beauty would be, and it just feels like they removed way too much eyelid skin, making my eyes and eyebrows closer together. I feel like I confused excision with incision, and the price I paid was way too high. It’s not like making a no-double-eyelid look with a double-fold method, and they say it’s possible to turn an 8-9 mm double eyelid into a no-double-eyelid through excision.. In eyes, 1 mm is a lot, but it feels like they shaved the skin off as if using clippers on hair. Just to lower the double-eyelid line, was it really necessary for my eyes and eyebrows to become as close as the effect other people get from forehead lifts... Also, I’m not sure whether showing another patient’s before-and-after photos was done with consent. I went to ask for aftercare, and when they said they wanted to take progress photos, I said I didn’t want to be photographed, but the staff said they had to take photos for the director to look at, so I was photographed against my will. Still, they didn’t do the aftercare in the direction I wanted, and when they said they would just remove more skin, I ended up not doing it. I’m in my mid-20s, I don’t have sagging skin, and during surgery they cut away the middle eyelid skin completely (a doctor at another hospital asked me why it was like that...) so I wonder if there was any skin left to remove here.
