When I was commuting back and forth between Daegu and Seoul every other week for work, I heard people say things like, 'You are still young, so why are the skin under your eyes so uneven when you smile?' a few times. I got so sick of the ads in Seoul saying everyone and their mother gets under-eye surgery at our hospital, so I decided to look in Daegu instead. The third place I visited was Cheongdam Style, and I was surprised that they only do eyes. I wondered if a hospital could even survive like that, but when I sat there, there were so many people even on a weekday. What surprised me most was that they do not advertise, yet they only do eyes and still have so many customers. The result was that my under-eye surgery got rejected for now. They said it is not yet the right time or condition for me. I was surprised twice by seeing them stop someone who came in ready to pay and book surgery. It gave me even more trust because they do not seem to see customers as money. If they are still open when I am older, I plan to go there for my under-eye surgery.
