I went for a philtrum reduction consultation. I was really worried about scars, and they reassured me to a degree by saying that if it’s managed well, it’ll be fine and won’t stand out over time. But it didn’t really reassure me enough to make a decision, so that was where the consultation ended. They also recommended combining inner philtrum reduction + outer philtrum reduction, or even the corners of the mouth, so it felt like things were getting bigger than I expected. The estimate was a bit cheaper than the place everyone usually consults at. The doctor just said what was necessary, and I remember the consultation director was extremely enthusiastic.
