Even though it was my first surgery, the cost was surprisingly high. However, they kept insisting that because my septum is short, I absolutely have to use autologous costal cartilage, and that wasn't very pleasant. What surprised me even more than the cost was that even when they roughly showed me the post-surgery photo with Photoshop, I thought, wow, this is too much. So I ended up not going.
