I had facial fat grafting three years ago. I had the first and second rounds about one or two months apart, and I do not remember the exact cost. My forehead was naturally slanted backward and severely hollow, so my brow bones looked relatively prominent, and there was enough shadow above my brows to show even from the front. I was very self-conscious about my forehead. At the time, I was deciding between Ellansé and fat grafting. I chose fat grafting because I liked that it was permanent, but looking back, it was still surgery... I think I made a rash decision when I was young and fearless, lol... The clinic did not even have an anesthesiologist. If I were deciding again now, I would probably choose the simpler Ellansé rather than surgery. Since Ellansé also lasts a long time, I think it would have been a good choice. Anyway, three years after the fat grafting, I am still extremely satisfied. The doctor really dislikes making the face look larger with fat grafting, so they designed it conservatively, focusing on the center and not filling the sides of the forehead too much, since that can make the face look wider. Nobody can tell I had surgery, to the point that I even forget it myself, but comparing before-and-after photos, the result is amazing, haha. This was something that had always bothered me, but since the surgery I have not thought about or worried about my forehead even once. Besides being young and having a hollow forehead, I was not someone with very little facial fat, which may have helped the grafts take well. Some fat was harvested from the outer-thigh area, and there was only one small incision near the hip-to-tailbone area. Now the scar is barely visible. I was also quite thin, so they told me to gain some weight, up to at least 50 kg, before surgery. I do not recommend fat grafting to people planning to lose more than 10 kg, gain that much, or fluctuate around that amount. I have always maintained a weight similar to what I had when I received the graft, so there was no major change, but the doctor also told me that if I gained a lot or lost a lot, it would show immediately in my face.
