It was already a clinic ruined by the [Clinic A] accident anyway, but I had surgery there about a year before the accident. Watching the fatal accident was chilling. The doctor was extremely stubborn and insisted that the surgery had to follow the proportions they had decided on. Otherwise, they said they would not operate. My chin was a revision surgery, and because the existing pin kept causing a stinging, buzzing sensation, I asked them to remove it during the revision. The additional charge was still shocking: 1.5 million won. What could I do? At the time, it was the only clinic that would simply cut the chin rather than perform chin osteotomy, and I decided on revision because after my first osteotomy, it felt as if my jaw had grown back a few years later. I also had the cheekbones done while I was at it. Shortly after surgery, some adhesions developed around the cheekbones, and the cheek fat looked slightly dented when I smiled. A few years later, I had full-face fat grafting elsewhere, which released the adhesions, but I gained sagging in return. Before the full-face procedure, when I had only done the chin, there was no sagging under my chin. So recently I also had double-chin muscle tightening and double-chin liposuction. Perhaps because I am older, I have developed slight cheek sagging. I already had fairly prominent deep buccal fat, and I had also undergone full-face fat grafting, so I cannot say for certain that this was caused by the surgery. It was an extremely demanding bone surgery, and there were three inpatients including me. The surgeon was not necessarily unskilled; rather, they had an accident after performing many surgeries without taking responsibility for patients until the end. I suspect they are working as a shadow doctor somewhere.
