There were always areas where exercise did not help me lose fat: my arms looked bulky, my lower abdomen protruded, while my hips lacked volume, making the line from my waist to my buttocks completely straight. Whenever I wore clothes, my upper body looked chubby and my lower body looked plain… I really hated this imbalance. So instead of deliberating over each area separately, I decided to shape my whole silhouette at once and chose arm liposuction, abdominal liposuction, and hip fat grafting. During the consultation, I was told that transferring the fat removed from my abdomen and arms to my hips would look natural and have good fat retention, and that is exactly how it was done. At first, I had swelling and wearing compression garments was extremely uncomfortable. I felt stiff when moving and had quite a few bruises… Honestly, during the first week I even wondered whether I had made the right decision. But after about three weeks, the swelling began to go down and I started to see the contours. My arms became straight and streamlined from the shoulders to the wrists, so they no longer looked thick even in a T-shirt and came out really slender. My lower abdomen went flat, the sides of my waist blended smoothly, and my waistline came back. The fat grafted to my hips survived better than expected, giving both sides attractive volume and making the line from my waist to my hips much smoother. It has now been about two months. There is still some residual swelling, but the way clothes fit has already changed completely. My upper body is slimmer and my hips have gained volume, so my overall proportions finally look balanced. Since this is a silhouette I could never have achieved through exercise alone, I am extremely satisfied. I will take good care of myself and try to maintain this shape. I really think I made the right choice.
