My eyelids were thick and had a lot of fat, so I used my forehead to open my eyes and went in only looking into upper blepharoplasty, but they strongly recommended epicanthoplasty too, and I ended up going along with it. Rather than recommending eyes that fit a person’s facial proportions, they kept showing pictures of Westerners and beautiful actresses and saying that fully exposing the lacrimal caruncle is normal, and the actual surgery was performed so that the lacrimal caruncle was overly exposed. As a result, my eyes ended up looking so unnatural that I’m now considering reconstruction of the epicanthoplasty.. Upper blepharoplasty was something I had wanted badly, so I’m still satisfied even though the scar is there. +The upper blepharoplasty left a sunken scar at the inner start of my eyebrow, and it still hasn’t gone away..... I’m so stressed that I’m looking into scar removal surgery. Epicanthoplasty also has a lot of side effects like stair-step scarring and shine, and it was overdone, so I’m thinking about correction
