I didn't want double eyelid surgery, I just wanted bigger eyes, so I decided on canthoplasty. The result is satisfying, but absolutely no way could I ever have my eye corner shaped like a sharp < shape. I think that's only possible if they cut very little. As expected, I also have a somewhat soft D shape, and makeup covers it completely, and unless people saw the swelling at the time of surgery, they don't know at all. But people ask if I lost weight somewhere or changed my makeup. The director didn't suggest any other surgeries even though I was only doing canthoplasty, and looked at me carefully. I wanted to widen it a lot, but I think they did as much as possible. After the surgery, I really, really, really suffered from swelling in one conjunctiva, and for almost two months one side wouldn't go down, so I went around wearing an eye patch. Without it, it looked gross. Time passed, it finally all went down, and now I'm really satisfied with the surgery.
