I had a consultation for protruding-mouth orthognathic surgery. There is just surgery for protruding mouth, and it can also be solved with two-jaw surgery, but I thought two-jaw surgery was the right option for improving my underdeveloped chin as well. I had been thinking only about the cosmetic side of things, but for two-jaw surgery the functional side is much more important than I expected. They pointed that out and explained the surgical plan a bit.
