I went back for another consultation for the first time in several years. If I had done my revision here, I probably wouldn’t be in this much pain now haha. The facilities are exactly the same as when I visited before. The doctor was as professional as before and gave me a long consultation. What moved me the most was that, as the saying goes, the thirsty dig the well, I sent the doctor more than 10 pages of text plus photos and videos, and he said he had read it three times and gave me a very sincere consultation. My last surgery was catastrophically bad, so my design, scar, and eye condition are all poor, and I’ve been burned by doctors in the past, so I couldn’t trust the doctor 100%, but if I do have surgery, I think I’d do it here. However, he said I shouldn’t specify any particular eye shape, and that a small, refined double eyelid is different from a hidden double eyelid, and that I shouldn’t think about folding over the eye or even think about the double eyelid itself, so I honestly don’t know what kind of eye that is, and that makes me hesitate a lot about surgery. Even from the photos he showed me, I didn’t really understand... If I could predict the result, or at least get a line marked out, I’d decide on surgery with some idea of what to expect.. There aren’t many reviews of surgeries done at this clinic either, and when you look at eyes from certain clinics, they have a distinct look, but there are no reviews here so I can’t even predict the eye shape, which is disappointing. At the previous clinic I mentioned 0.5 mm of reserve, but the scar they made for me there is 2 mm. He said he could cut all of that out, but I think reserve should be considered conservatively, so I’m planning to visit a few more clinics, and if the overall consultations say there isn’t enough reserve, I’ll hold out as much as I can and do it in a few yearsㅠㅠ He said the procedure uses weak resection and weak fixation, but there were also some parts that made me doubtful, so I think I’ll go for one more re-consultation. The doctor’s character and professionalism are very good, so this is definitely a place I’d recommend people consult. If our needs match, there probably isn’t a better clinic than this. If I end up having surgery here too, I’ll definitely leave a review as well.
