Dr. Kim Gigap did cheek fat grafting when he was at Gangnam LiX. (My mother.) The cheek fat hardened and became puffy, turning her face into a frog face. Because of the side effects, we went back and asked for an injection to dissolve the fat, but they said she would need surgery to scrape the fat out. She had the surgery. She suffered severe side effects. Her face filled with fluid and became puffy. They had cut off all the nerves, so she couldn't even smile, and her lips wouldn't lift when eating. My mom even quit her job and got depression. The side where they scraped out the fat is still wrinkled now, and the nerves still haven't come back. Because the surgery took too long, they dissolved the fat on the other side with injections, and that side of her face is fine.
