My cousin, my third aunt, a neighborhood ajumma, and a neighborhood older sister all had it done by this doctor and their results were good, so I went without doing even one round of comparison shopping. I went in because I thought my nose was crooked, and Dr. Cheon said it only looked that way because my nose was too high compared to my eyes, so he recommended eye surgery instead. So on the day of consultation, I had fat removal and buried suture double eyelid surgery. A few weeks after the eye surgery, while I was just sitting there, I suddenly had two lines on my left eye...?? So my eye basically turned into three layers of pork belly. So I went to the clinic saying, huh, what is this, and had revision surgery. I think it was the fat removal, if I remember correctly. I want to write more, but it was so long ago that my memory is a bit blurry. So after several revisions, the final result was: Left eye: hollow upper lid from excessive fat removal, still a three-layer pork belly eye but thinner than before Right eye: hollow upper lid, the double eyelid came undone after just one year, and the muscle and skin stuck together so I can't open my eye wide So I ended up with asymmetrical eyes. People around me don't even know I had double eyelid surgery because it was such a total disaster For years I walked around with dull, drooping eyes, and ah, the more I write, the angrier I get. I'm someone who was educated, so I won't swear. Plastic surgery is truly a matter of luck. I'm really furious.
