I decided to have surgery because my nose was large and wide, and I had surgery using cartilage from the nasal tip, septum, and silicone for the bridge. I didn’t want the bridge done, but they said if only the tip were lifted, it would droop, so they inserted silicone. When I went back a week after the splint was removed, they said the silicone near the glabella was too high and corrected the bridge early without any extra charge. Before the early correction, I kept thinking, is this really right...? But after it, it wasn’t dramatically prettier, though compared to my old nose, I think it’s still pretty decent... Every time I go for a follow-up, they always ask if anything feels uncomfortable and always explain the precautions. It’s almost a month after surgery now, and I think the swelling still needs to go down more before I’m fully happy with the tip shape... I hope it doesn’t just stop going down. The surgery started at 9 with the consultation, and when I woke up from sedation it was a little before 3. I rested a bit more and went home at 4. They only do one person a day, and in the afternoon they seem to spend time on treatment, follow-up checks, and consultations for people who had surgery.
