I had surgery for a hump nose and functional nose. To say the conclusion first, the tip of my nose is too sharp and I'm now looking into revision surgery because of silicone inflammation. Personal standards of beauty may differ, but everyone who sees it says my image has become more masculine. I feel that way too. I think aftercare is important for any hospital. Starting four months after the surgery, I visited several times because of an inflammatory reaction that made the bridge of my nose swell, but they kept adding extra charges because they said the surgery date would be set after six months had passed. They asked me to pay more than one million won extra. When I asked about the revision method, the director seemed busy and said in a way that it was no big deal, that they could just remove the silicone through a closed approach, and then left. Since it was being removed because of inflammation, I wanted to know whether they would remove the capsule, and if they only took out the silicone, what would happen to the already sharp nose tip. I had to call and ask about that too. It was absurd that they only answered after the patient had to ask, when this wasn't even free surgery. Oh, and I also had a rhinitis surgery, and I've been living with a runny nose for a year now. The hospital facilities and the staff's kindness are top-notch. However, the aftercare when problems arise is very disappointing, and the A/S period is extremely short.
