There wasn’t a separate consultation with a manager; it was a format where you meet the director right away, and there were quite a lot of waiting patients, plus there were two directors, so it felt a bit hectic going back and forth between the treatment room and the consultation room. The doors to the consultation room and treatment room were all open too, which probably made it feel even more so. The consultation fee is 3,000 won paid in advance. During the director’s consultation, they tried on several eye lines and recommended the height and surgery method that would suit me. You can tell they’ve done this a lot, and they figure out the eye shape and additionally tell you what else might need to be done. They were kind, but somehow it didn’t feel relaxed. It felt like, okay, we’ve said everything, let’s get up now? It felt a bit like I was being moved on to the next waiting patient, so I think I couldn’t ask everything I wanted. I couldn’t ask whether I could do a different surgery method or what it would be like if I did. The clinic facilities felt a bit old. It was like an ordinary neighborhood clinic. The automatic door button at the clinic didn’t work well, so I had to press it several times.
