It's been about a year since the surgery. First of all, I really don't like the shape of my nose, so I want a revision, but there's somewhere else I want to prioritize more, so I'll hold off for now. During the consultation, I said that I didn't want a super straight, ruler-straight nose shape because it looked too obviously fake to me, so I guess I don't really have much room to complain about how my nose turned out... But the problem isn't just that it's not straight... the symmetry is a mess. They used ear cartilage to support the columella, and then cartilage on top of that to raise the tip, but the tip is twisted sharply to the right. On the left there's basically nothing <the tip starts at the center of the nose and goes to the right nostril wing> There's absolutely nothing on the left. I only said I didn't want a nose that looked too straight from the side; I never asked them to make it crooked... About a month after surgery, once the swelling went down and I could see the shape, I told them it had twisted to the right, and the director said, "At home, press it firmly to the left with your hand frequently to shape it" and told me to do that, lol. I thought, 'It's been a month, and it's already been fully operated on, so how would touching it with my hand even work?' but there wasn't really any other option that soon after surgery, so I could only leave it alone and think, if I don't like it, I'll get a revision later... But no matter how much I touched it, it stayed exactly the same. When I told people around me to try pressing it for me, everyone was like, 'I've never heard of a clinic in my life telling people to massage a surgically operated nose. That's ridiculous.' The highlight on my nose also ended up too high, like a pig nose... But when I looked at it from the front, it didn't look completely bizarre because of my original nose shape... so I put off the nose revision and first got surgery for another area I urgently wanted done. I guess it was my own fault for saying I didn't want a straight nose, so I'll just think of it that way I wish it had cost less though
