The consultation time was way too short, over in just a few minutes like I was being rushed. There was no proxy surgery, and it's true that one chief doctor does everything alone. Maybe because he is the one doing the surgery himself and wants to minimize risk, he seems reluctant to do even procedures that are possible if they're just a little difficult. I only had a consultation last year, and at that time I weighed 8 kg more than I do now. I had been using warm compresses a lot, so my skin was red and seemed slightly stretched because of them. I walked for an hour to get there, so I was hot and panting, and my skin felt red too. I was bare-faced. I definitely had a lot of facial fat and wanted full-face liposuction, but the doctor said that after liposuction my cheeks might sag and stretch more, pointing to the already sagging area next to my nasolabial fold, as if it weren't sagging but just fat from weight gain. He didn't want to do that area. He didn't want to do this and that either. Still, he seemed willing to do everything except the nasolabial area. After the consultation, I called from home to set a surgery date, but the manager unilaterally said the doctor had decided not to operate, and they said they wouldn't do the surgery at all. During the consultation they clearly said we should do this and that and that they would perform the surgery, but as soon as I got home and called, they said the surgery was refused. They said they can't do the surgery at all because it was a refusal, and I wanted to set a surgery date, but the doctor refused, so they couldn't do it at all lol. This was my first time dealing with something like this. It feels like the manager just arbitrarily prevented me from having surgery; if surgery can't be done, the doctor should tell me, but the doctor said he would do it and the manager said it couldn't be done, so I couldn't get the surgery. I went to another hospital that day, and they gave me a quote for full-face fat liposuction and said they would do full-face fat liposuction. They also said they would do the nasolabial area. Dr. Jeongri-ban is cheap and has good reviews, so I want to do it, but it's a hospital that feels suspicious in many ways. The doctor is a general practitioner, not a plastic surgeon. The manager from last year single-handedly prevented me from having surgery. During the doctor consultation, they said they would do liposuction everywhere except the nasolabial area, but when I called home, I couldn't set a surgery date. The manager arbitrarily refused the surgery lolㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's ridiculous. But another hospital's doctor is a plastic surgery specialist, though he's a pay doctor and his experience is short. I even set a date, but the doctor who was supposed to do the surgery went to the U.S. for training again, so the surgery couldn't happen...
