This post was not written to slander the hospital or spread false information to damage its reputation, and I state that there is no false information in the content. It was written based on the `rights of consumers` guaranteed by our Constitution and the Framework Act on Consumers, for the purpose of sharing information and helping other patients, and I state that it has no intent to slander the medical institution beyond sharing objective facts and serving the public interest. Around last summer, I started looking into buccal fat removal, which had always stressed me out, and after visiting a few clinics for consultations, I decided this place seemed the best and chose to have it done here. Since I wanted to improve my appearance and really wanted to do it, I planned to have a mini facelift, buccal fat removal (6 procedures in total), and double-chin muscle binding. But they said thread lifting had to be included, so I hesitated, but just before surgery I told the manager I would not do thread lifting. She said she would pass it on to the doctor, and in the end I lay down on the operating table. While I was lying there, the manager came into the operating room and said something like, "The doctor says thread lifting is essential to shape things properly when doing the mini facelift," so I figured, oh, I guess that's how it is, and agreed while lying on the table. Up to that point there was really no problem. The manager was genuinely, incredibly kind and seemed like a very good person. The doctor was also really kind. So I was lying on the operating table, and there were a male nurse and a female nurse next to me. They told me the anesthesia medicine was going in, and then I went under. But before surgery, I had clearly requested CCTV recording, and the manager was aware of it. I remember going into surgery a little after 2 o'clock, and after everything was finished I remember the manager and a nurse waking me up, and I think it was around 9 o'clock when I got up. I was still groggy from the anesthesia and don't remember everything clearly, but the timing is probably about right. Then, after coming back to the hospital a few times and reviewing my memories before and after surgery, I kept thinking the surgery time was too long. What I definitely remember is that when I woke up, the doctor wasn't even visible. So while monitoring my recovery and chatting with the manager on KakaoTalk, I asked to see the CCTV, and she said she would tell the doctor first. After that, they eventually turned me down, saying it would be hard to recover it. I definitely asked to see the CCTV not long after, and even now I still don't really understand. Maybe because there was only one doctor, they were moving back and forth between anesthesia and consultations.. But the surgery result itself is okay. Honestly, I don't even know whether the thread lifting was included or not, but for the buccal fat removal, if you press on my cheeks, there is truly nothing there except skin and flesh (I asked them to remove as much as possible).. As for the mini facelift, whether the lifting itself was successful or not is one thing, but there are two mirrors in the bathroom at home so I can see my side profile, and my upper lip and lower lip used to be almost parallel, which stressed me out a bit, but my lower lip is now much more pulled in.. It really made me realize how important the side profile is. But the mini facelift incision left a lot of marks on one side. I don't know if that's the surgeon's skill or if it's also because I didn't apply ointment very well ㅠ And something else that was strange: I had agreed to get jaw Botox and square-jaw Botox (they said they'd include it as a service), but when I asked a few days after surgery, they said the Botox had been injected under anesthesia. Does that make sense? It wasn't that I was upset about the few ten-thousand won.. it just felt off. And the amount I actually paid differed from what had been discussed by several hundred thousand won. On the day itself I was nervous before surgery, so I didn't notice it, but I found out later while sorting out the moneyㅋㅋㅋ And when I look at review posts, there are people who had thread lifting too, and one person said it took 4 hours.. I just wrote this down because it's hard to bring it up now and I kept wondering whether I should say something or not.
