At first, I thought it was because the swelling had not gone down enough, but no matter how much time passed, the double-eyelid line remained thick and unnatural. Especially when I closed and opened my eyes, the line looked too pronounced, and without makeup, anyone could tell I had double-eyelid surgery, which was incredibly stressful.
