This will be my second surgery here, and it seems not bad this time either. The first time, I had double-eyelid surgery and an upper canthoplasty. I had monolids and wanted double eyelids, and they said an upper canthoplasty was needed for an in-out crease, so I had them together. That was probably three or four years ago, so I do not remember clearly, but I recall that the consultation was free then too and that I was not pressured to pay a deposit. This time I had medial canthoplasty and lower eyelid fat repositioning. Maybe because I have gotten older, the area under my eyes had become somewhat bulging, making me look older. I also felt that the inner corners looked a bit cramped, so even after having an upper canthoplasty, I thought the only answer was medial canthoplasty, and I went back to the same place for a consultation. When I had my first surgery, I was told that I had epicanthal folds, but at the time I did not think it was necessary, so I did not do it. This time the doctor also said that if the inner corners felt cramped, medial canthoplasty would be good, so I decided to do that together with lower eyelid fat repositioning to tidy the area under my eyes. The explanation was that lower eyelid fat repositioning does not take very long to recover from and can be done naturally. So I had surgery in September, and it has now been about a month. The swelling from both procedures seems to have gone down to some extent. Since the lacrimal caruncles are not severely exposed, it does not look particularly strange. Now that my eyes are more open at the inner corners, I do not feel like changing anything else. The area under my eyes has been completely tidied up, so I think I look about my age again. A friend said it turned out well, so I guess it did. I am waiting, thinking that after another month it will settle and look even neater.
