Regardless of inner or outer corners, my eyes were simply very small, so I wanted to make them much bigger. At the consultation, they recommended medial canthoplasty, upper canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty. Since my goal was to enlarge my eyes anyway, I had them all done at once, lol. It has already been over a year since surgery—crazy, right? I work, so I did not have time to look into clinics. I asked a friend to recommend a clinic if she knew anyone who had had canthoplasty. I got information from her cousin or someone like that and went to [Clinic A] for a consultation. They recommended full canthoplasty and explained each procedure in detail. Looking at my notes, it says the lateral and lower canthoplasty were fixed to the periosteum so they would not re-adhere, while the medial and upper canthoplasty would be adjusted in angle so that too much of the lacrimal caruncle would not show. I also remember the consultation being fairly long. They were not the type to give a superficial consultation. After surgery, swelling bothered me more than the scars, so honestly, I went to the clinic every weekend for two months for care. Maybe because of that, I recovered quickly and lived with the results almost fully settled from early on. My eyes became really big, and their shape changed to something like a half-moon, somewhat resembling Park Bo-young's eye shape. Personally, I am satisfied, lol. Because they look pretty. Now it feels as though my eyes, nose, and mouth finally fit together, so I wish I had gotten the canthoplasty sooner.
