In September 2017, I had bilateral 350cc augmentation with Allergan Texture. During the doctor's consultation, I was told that even if I kept them for 10 years, I would probably do well with almost no side effects. In September 2021, I had the implant removal surgery because the left side ruptured. I had never done heavy exercise or put strain on my chest. It became a complete rupture after just 4 years. When removing it, I asked about also removing the capsule, but I was told there was no real need to remove the capsule. They said they do not recommend capsule removal when removing implants. Rather than explaining the patient's health or possible surgical side effects, they focused on the case where the surgery goes well, and for the patient's later health or side effects, they act like they know nothing about it.
