I had a slight hidden double eyelid, and during the consultation I said I wanted it just a little thicker than my existing one, but they asked why anyone would make them thick these days. I got my double eyelids done here 12 years ago, and ended up with a sausage line. For about three or four years I slept with my eyes open, and only one eye developed mucosal eversion and showed the mucous membrane, so I was incredibly stressed. Even up until five years after the surgery, people around me kept saying, “When will the swelling finally go down?” My eyes had no fat and were made of soft skin that went back and forth between a hidden double eyelid, and I never even asked for thick double eyelids, so I still don’t understand why the surgery turned out that way. I even got eyeliner tattooing to make the double eyelids look thinner, and wore eye makeup every single day. Now, 12 years later, my upper eyelids have sagged and cover part of the sausage line, so no one says I look swollen anymore, but now I have a depressed scar and a step-like difference in the eyelids, so I’m finally going for revision surgery. They advertise that they’re good at revision surgery, but they should be good at basic surgery first before talking about revisions.
