First, back in 2014 I went to get double eyelid surgery because everyone else was doing it and I wanted it too. My older sister had done it first, and at that time a lot of people had it done here, so I came here too without even needing to choose a hospital and booked the surgery date. There was one doctor, and if the doctor was in surgery, a nurse assistant or someone who looked a bit older would do the eye consultation.. Fortunately, the doctor came out after surgery and shaped my eyelid line with something like a toothpick, and they said same-day surgery was possible, but I was scared so I said I wouldn’t do it that day and came back a few weeks later for surgery. It was local anesthesia, but it really hurt like crazy.. Even just getting the anesthetic injections made me want to say I wouldn’t do it and walk out The left eye corner wasn’t fully numb either, so by the end I could feel all the pain with my eyes wide open.. I said it hurt, and they offered to give the anesthetic shots again, but I just wanted them to finish quickly, so I said no and endured it. I’m the type who swells badly to begin with, so even though it was buried suture, the swelling lasted a very long time, but at some point it suddenly went down and became like my own eye; if I don’t say anything, people think I was born with it. Still, the line was shaped nicely so I’m very satisfied. But about 4 or 5 years later, one side came loose, so I have to look for a hospital again.
