(I posted this in the body surgery review section, but since it says you need three evaluation posts before you can see other people's evaluation posts, I'm reposting it.) After I gave birth, I developed accessory breasts. My OB-GYN connected me to Ajou University's breast surgery department, and I had accessory breast removal surgery at Ajou University, but the results were so horrible... I still have blood-drain scars on both sides toward the back near my armpits. I went through hospitalization and suffered, and in the end I wasted money too. Accessory breast removal should be done at a plastic surgery clinic that removes the accessory breast glandular tissue and fat and also removes the extra skin left in the armpit. Because I live in the countryside, I was mainly looking online for clinics where board-certified plastic surgeons worked, and by chance I visited the Silhouette Plastic Surgery website and made an online inquiry. They answered exactly as I wrote above. They replied, "After removing the accessory breast glandular tissue and fat, the extra skin left in the armpit is also removed, and it is finished by bonding with skin glue." So I asked about the cost by phone, then paid a deposit and booked a same-day consultation and same-day surgery. I'm a bit reckless in this area, and now I'm struggling a bit after having a double-eyelid revision with twofold line removal. I don't go for consultations at multiple places. But even though I had same-day consultation and same-day surgery for accessory breast removal, forehead lift, and contouring procedures, I didn't have major side effects and was about 70% satisfied after surgery, so I keep ending up choosing hospitals this way. I need to get things fixed a bit now... but since I live far away, going to Seoul once is a burden. I had the accessory breast removal surgery around 2006 to 2007. After the surgery, my left armpit opened up, so they stitched it again at the breast surgery department of Gumi Cha Hospital. During the accessory breast removal surgery, they removed flesh all the way to the side of my chest, which helped me wear sleeveless tops, and I was really happy about that. I think I asked them to do that. And probably on the right armpit, I wasn't happy with the scar after skin excision and closure, so I requested aftercare online, and without making me say it twice, they scheduled it right away and fixed it. Compared with other plastic surgery clinics, Silhouette Plastic Surgery's online consultations are more active and proactive than I expected, and they give sincere answers, so I feel really grateful as a patient. One thing I regret is that glandular tissue remains at the boundary where the armpit transitions into the arm. It would be perfect if they widened the area slightly more upward. And when excising the extra skin in the armpit after accessory breast removal, if they matched the amount of skin removed from the left and right armpits closely, the patient would have similar skin tension and shape on both sides and wouldn't worry about it as much. It has been about 15 years, so maybe they perform even more perfect surgeries now^^ If I come for a consultation for surgery in another area next time, please take good care of me warmly.
