I have had double eyelid surgery three times. This was the first hospital I had surgery at, and I went there through a referral from someone I knew. At first, since I was from outside Seoul and it was a place recommended by someone I knew, I vaguely thought it would turn out well. But on the day of surgery, they said they would do local anesthesia during sedation anesthesia, and before long after the surgery started I was screaming and it was a disaster. I was crying because it hurt so much, and only then did the director redo the local anesthesia. If local anesthesia has already been done once, shouldn't it not hurt when it's done again? Even when they redid it, it hurt so much. I'm not especially sensitive to pain. If I were, I wouldn't have been able to have surgery three times. Anyway, the surgery was a failure. The left side had a pretty line, but after only a few months the front part loosened, and the right side had a higher line than the left and the line looked strange. And it didn't seem like the eye correction worked at all. Also, one side of the canthoplasty stuck together.
