Only after it was done did I find out that there were victims all over the place. I had necrosis, inflammation, and all kinds of things, and this is my third revision surgery. The doctor said things like he learned this surgery by being a guinea pig and had never learned umbilical surgery before, or that he thought skin would rot if he operated like this but it wouldn't rot. He also said that while other doctors would call everything inflammation or necrosis, only he, the navel expert, knew which surgeries were actually done well.
