(Review after revision surgery consultation) I went there thinking that if they only removed the silicone and adjusted the height of the columellar septal graft at the tip of my nose, that would be enough. But they said my current nose fit my face much less than I thought, and if I were going to have revision surgery for cosmetic reasons, I would need things that other places didn’t recommend, like donated rib cartilage, ear cartilage, autologous dermis, and nostril reduction, so I was a bit startled. When I showed the director my nose before surgery, they were confident and said they would have done better if they had done it themselves, which made me trust them more. But maybe because they were tired from a long surgery before the consultation, the consultation was shorter than at other hospitals, and that part was disappointing. Also, compared with how confident they sounded, I felt they were less focused on the detailed consultation I wanted and more on the idea of trusting them and following their lead. There were a lot of people, so the wait was longer than at other hospitals, over an hour, and the consultation was short compared with that, which was very disappointing. The consultation manager asked very directly whether I was going to have surgery at this hospital, and said that today’s price range was around this amount, but next time they wouldn’t be able to do it for that amount and the price would go up, so they subtly pushed same-day reservation, which made me a little uncomfortable. The revision cost is also around 700 even without complications, so I’m thinking about it a bit.
