I visited for a consultation because I developed contracture in my nose. Rather than saying it would definitely be good, they explained what would be difficult and what would be bad, and gave a much more realistic consultation. So it’s true that I was worried first, but I thought it was better than only hearing overly positive things, and they seemed to have a strong pride in their skill. That’s better than being passive, but I think the way it comes across could differ depending on the patient’s personality.
