Very kind! I think I was kept there for almost an hour.. But they were kind until the end. It felt like the doctor really understood that the patient was trying to find the best and optimal method for their first nose surgery. They talked a lot more about why they wanted to do the surgery that way than about how to do it, so it was really easy to understand. They carefully explained what the problems with my nose were, then kept touching and examining it from all angles. They even identified facial muscle asymmetry that I didn't know I had, and instead of glossing over possible side effects, they explained them in detail, which actually made me feel more at ease. They try not to make unnecessary incisions on the body whenever possible, so even though I was considering alar reduction, they said I didn't need it. They also recommend donor rib rather than autologous rib. I was recommended to use rib, ear cartilage, and silicone. They explained that they would raise the nasal tip overall with rib, then refine the area around it nicely with ear cartilage, and then add silicone. I liked the consultation, but it seems like it might be a little different from the look I'm aiming for, so I'm thinking about it.
