I had been considering liposuction for a while and finally made a big decision to get the procedure. During the consultation, my expectations were high, and right after the surgery I was a little flustered because the swelling and pain were more than I expected. I kept up with the care during recovery, but even as time passed I didn’t feel the kind of change I had hoped for. There was some contouring, of course, but it wasn’t a dramatic difference, so I was left disappointed. I really realized that results vary a lot from person to person, and I’ll finish by saying the result was a little underwhelming.
